At Vibrant Life your child will...

Embark on a Hero's journey:

We each have a purpose for the greater whole. If we accept the call to adventure, we will have to step out of the ordinary. We will move through uncomfortable places, encounter challenges, and learn how to think for ourselves. During this process we will connect to our heart, discern truth, connect with mentors, synergize with others and come away a changed person who has also changed the world. This process is meant to be joyful and occur with others!

Engage in Quests:

The learners are given hands-on quests for science, entrepreneurship, and the arts to master the tools and skills needed to solve problems in the real world. No worksheets are given. Quests are a four to six-week series of challenges bound by a compelling narrative. They are designed to develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, building, technology, entrepreneurial skills, collaboration, and flexibility. They give heroes the opportunity to "DO" something with their knowledge. At the conclusion of each quest there is an exhibition for the families where the learners present and demonstrate what they have learned.

Lead and participate in Socratic Discussions

Socratic launches are learner led discussions, not lectures. They teach the learners how to think critically and how to ask meaningful questions. They ask learners to make and defend difficult real world decisions. They are meant to inspire and equip the studio with systems as they are needed. There will be no memorization of facts to pass a test.

Be mentored by a guide

At Vibrant Life there are no teachers. Each studio has their own guide. They offer frameworks, systems, and boundaries within which each studio can work. They propose exciting challenges and invite learners to embark on life-changing adventures. A guide is warm-hearted and tough-minded. They NEVER answer questions, but instead provide choices and guide learners to find the answers themselves. Through this, learners learn skills such as accountability, initiative, self-direction, and problem-solving. These skills create an independent learner. Learners develop the trust that they can solve any problem and can be supported in their life’s journey.

Strengthen their family relationships

The daily part time schedule,  4 days a week, and one week break after each learning session, protects the time to rejuvenate, explore passions, other learnings, travel and connect with family.

Participate in daily holistic well-being practices

Learners will be outside interacting with nature every, and have opportunities like leading a guided visualization, or a heart- brain coherence exercise. They will observe the seasons. Your child will interact with tools that they will be able to incorporate into their future to create a life with balance and awareness that supports overall health and happiness.

Belong to a intentional Community

Imagine a place where all children are respected as their unique, powerful self. They will have ample opportunity to connect to their mind, heart and community. And they will have friends to do it with!  We think it's a beautiful recipe for joy and a successful learning journey.
